A surprisingly honest article on the dire hand hygiene situation in Hungary (in Hungarian): while the medical staff is aware of the WHO protocols, soap, dispensers and alcohol are missing at the point of care, and even where circumstances are given, there is no time for proper action. Compliance is at best at 40-60%, while infection ratio is so high at some places that they stopped reporting.
