Organized by the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC), this week is the International Infection Prevention Week (IIPW) providing a focal point for infection preventionists, healthcare professionals, consumers, organizations, and industry partners to shine a light on infection prevention and its power to save lives.
This year APIC also lunched its multiyear campaign named “Infection Prevention and You” as an awareness rising program, to show what can people do to keep themselves germ free.
